Contrary to other robovacs we've evaluated, the i3+ EVO comes with self-emptying bins that dump debris into an external dirt compartment on its charging base when it's filled. The i3+ EVO can be prevented from overfilling with a self-emptying bin. However it still needs to be manually empty at the end of each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's inner dustbin holds 2.4L of waste that is more than enough to last four or five cleaning sessions before needing to replace it.
Like the i7, utilizes state-of-the-art floor-tracking sensors to produce maps. It also allows you to navigate through neat rows. However the i3+ EVO only stores one map, whereas the i7 can store multiple. The i7 is also able to make use of its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, however the i3+ EVO can't.
While the i3+ EVO is superior in removing debris on surfaces than the other robovacs we looked at but it's not the best in terms of cleaning corners and edges. It's also less gentle on furniture despite being relatively quiet.
