This model is capable of handling floor cleaning tasks without any assistance, including sweeping, mopping and dusting. Its base station is smaller than its competitors and requires 50cm of room either side and 150cm front but for those with enough space, it's capable of offering an entirely hands-off clean.
Its intelligent navigation technology is able to follow the layout of your home, while storing and utilizing the data in its own internal memory without ever transferring it to the cloud or any other external source. The X10 can remember the layout of rooms with iPath and AI See. It can also optimize cleaning routes so that they can be efficient and thorough.
The X10 smart object recognition system is extremely efficient, allowing it to recognize and avoid dangers like power cords. It can also be programmed to automatically clean and recharge its battery which is a nice addition. However, I found that the X10 may get stuck on some thicker carpets, which can cause it to crash loudly over them and occasionally pushing its front brush into them.
This is a fantastic robo-vacuum and mop, but it's let down by the jargon-filled application. As opposed to the iRobot app that guides you through the process of setting up your robot and teaches you how to use it but the Eufy Clean app leaves you to figure it out on your own. It's a great choice for those looking to personalize the app to their preferences.
4. SwitchBot S10
The SwitchBot S10 vacuum cleaner robot is the ideal solution to home cleaning. It is a combination of an air cleaner and mop. It comes with unique design and structure that allows it to collect dust and provide mopping water within the same machine.
It's equipped with all the usual sensors found on top-of-the-line robot vacuums, allowing it to create the map of your home in real-time, avoiding obstacles, and recognizing different types of carpets and hard flooring. Unfortunately, the S10's battery life isn't as good as some of its rivals and may require a recharge halfway through if you have more space in your home. It also sounds quite loud when it is operating, and might not be a good choice to use in areas where silence is desired. It's a great price for the quality. The SwitchBot S10 has a sleek, modern design that makes it an outstanding model in its class.
5. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an upgrade from Switchbot's bestselling Mini robot vacuum. The latest version comes with an Anti-Tangle Rubber Brush, Advanced Position Sensitive Detector (PSD) sensor, and upgraded suction power that can reach 3000Pa or more to provide better corner coverage and overall cleaning.
The K10 Plus uses SLAM navigation which is a simple application and a thorough cleaning process. The PSD sensor and rotary brush work in tandem to navigate around furniture. The four-stage cleaning process combines, lifts, sweeps and vacuums to remove debris from floors and carpets. The dust bin is self-emptying so you don't have to worry about emptying it frequently.
smart vacuum cleaner allows you to mark areas of the space that you want the device to stay clear of, such as pet toys or power cords. This is a feature that's found in most robotic vacuums and is useful if you have specific areas of the house that require more attention than others.
You can set the K10 Plus to return to its base station every 60, 75 or 90 minutes to automatically empty its trash bin. This is a major improvement over other robots which require a return trip and manually emptied. It will save you a lot of time.
In my tests, I found that the K10 Plus' battery life was excellent. It lasted for 110 minutes on one charge which is much higher than the iRobot Roomba Combo Essential's 127 minutes.
The K10 Plus has a fairly compact design, making it easy to place under furniture or tight spaces. It is wirelessly connected and supports Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri shortcuts. It also works with IFTTT and Samsung SmartThings. It tracks the use of its accessories, such as the filter, side brushes and dust bag, letting you know when it's time to change them.
